It is the unforuntae and difficult truth what the guy says. Until the hydrogen era, somewhere around 2025, we have to live with a mixture of energy sources.
The winners shall be the ones leaving carbon based fuels behind, and focusing on locally produced energy means.

Erik Straser of Mohr Davidow Ventures adds that although we do have natural resources still available to us, new technologies are needed to extract them in a cleaner, greener way.
