GE's Skype phone eliminates the PC

At CES 2007 in Las Vegas, ZDNet Executive Editor David Berlind demos the new GE DECT 6.0 Skype phone. The dual purpose phone works over a 1.9 Ghz radio frequency and does not require a PC to make calls. It costs $170.
