Reboot, caused by update
I was annoyed by Windows update rebooting without ever seeing an option to delay, or postpone. Update just closed all applications, not saving anythin and rebooted.

Hmm, it would be nice to know the date of this issue, I have a similar thinkpad but so far have not run into this. thinkpad r61e 2gig ram vista premium with all current updates.

The administrator can set the default to download but not intall automatically. If this is done, the administrator can do the install & reboot at his convenience and not interrupt anyone else who uses the computer who doesn't have administrator privileges.
