Francis Bacon: five decades audio guide

    Platform: iOS, Android

    Price: AU$2.99

Sport isn't the only activity that's happening in Sydney this summer. A collection of the works of Francis Bacon will be showing at the Art Gallery of New South Wales, and this app will function as an audio guide.

Narrated by the director of the Art Gallery of NSW, Michael Brand, and curator Anthony Bond, the app features audio commentary for each section of the exhibition, and some archival material from the Francis Bacon studio.

    Price: Free

If you own an Optus TV set-top box, then this companion app is for you.

The app allows for scheduling program recording, managing recordings, and renting movies.

For these features to work, though, you need to be connected to the same subnet as the Optus TV set-top box.
