To see the Firefox Marketplace, you will need to install Firefox Aurora on your Android device.
One of the first apps available is from Twitter, and offers much the same experience as the regular Android Twitter app. As Firefox Marketplace applications can install launchers, having both the regular Twitter client and Firefox Marketplace version installed will result in two identical Twitter icons on your Android home screen.
Tweetbot for Mac
Tapbots has taken Tweetbot for Mac out of public alpha, and shocked its userbase by setting the price of the app at $20.
The company says that this is a result of Twitter's new API limitations.
The app has plenty of fans though, and with the total number of installations limited to whatever Twitter says, if you don't pay up, someone else will.
The official Android interface for Google Calendar has appeared.
While its looks are not going to blow you away, it should at least work better with reminders than some other third-party applications.
As this is a first release, the interface is pretty basic, but it is a better alternative than using the mobile website.
