    Tweetbot for Mac

    Platform: iOS

    Price: AU$19.99

Tapbots has taken Tweetbot for Mac out of public alpha, and shocked its userbase by setting the price of the app at $20.

The company says that this is a result of Twitter's new API limitations.

The app has plenty of fans though, and with the total number of installations limited to whatever Twitter says, if you don't pay up, someone else will.

    Google Calendar

    Platform: Android

    Price: Free

The official Android interface for Google Calendar has appeared.

While its looks are not going to blow you away, it should at least work better with reminders than some other third-party applications.

As this is a first release, the interface is pretty basic, but it is a better alternative than using the mobile website.

    Platform: Android

    Price: Free

Gumtree, the online classifieds site that isn't Craigslist, has released a new application for Android. But don't worry, those legendary weird requests that give Craigslist its fame outside of North America, can also be found on Gumtree.

For instance, who wouldn't want to dress up in an owl costume for $30 an hour?
