Messenger Play places Windows Live Messenger (MSN) on a user's Android tablet or phone. It has now been updated to allow users to communicate via Facebook chat, as well.

Price: Free

Australia's SBS has opened up its content for users to access whenever they like. The app also has support for subscribing to programs, so its inbuilt playlists will update when new episodes become available.

SkyDrive

Price: Free

Microsoft has brought its cloud-storage service SkyDrive over to the Android platform. The app means that users can now access data uploaded to SkyDrive from other devices, but also that data from an Android device can also be shared.

Not to be confused with SkyDrive, SkyPath is specifically for images stored on Imageshack. It allows users to sync images from their Imageshack account with all of their Apple devices.

The app for organising flights, accomodation, and itineraries has received a small update to help keep track of the best deals for hotels. Users can now find out if a better price is available for where they're travelling, and change their plans accordingly.
