Elliott 803 console

Here is the Elliott 803's console, where instructions could be entered and the machine started, stopped and stepped: uniquely, a loudspeaker connected to a bit in the currently executing instruction allowed the operator to judge the status of a running program by ear. This feature has been exploited by composer Matthew Applegate (Pixelh8). Stay tuned for more on the Elliott 803.
