100K jobs have been lost to Chinese outsourcing in 2004

US Congressional commission released a study estimating that about 100,000 US jobs will have been shifted in 2004 to China as a result of outsourcing. The study was conducted by two university academics for the US-China Economic and Security Review Commission, a bipartisan panel of experts created by Congress in 2000.

US Congressional commission released a study estimating that about 100,000 US jobs will have been shifted in 2004 to China as a result of outsourcing. The study was conducted by two university academics for the US-China Economic and Security Review Commission, a bipartisan panel of experts created by Congress in 2000. The commission said that the study forecasts that as many as 406,000 US jobs will have been shifted to overseas, nearly a quarter of which is absorbed by China.
