110,000 VOIP users in Germany, 220,000 in France, 50,000 in UK

VOIP has attracted 4.9 mln customers in Japan, 1 mln in the United States but only 110,000 users in Germany, 220,000 in France and 50,000 in Britain, according to European Commission. Only 6.5% of people in the EU have access to high speed Internet, and only 7.6% of those 15 countries which comprised the EU until May 2004 have it.
