120K Wi-Fi hotspots by year-end 2005, 200K by 2008

The number of WLAN hot spots will likely exceed 120,000 by the end of 2005 and grow to more than 200,000 globally by 2008. Retail outlets remain the most prevalent type of location, Gartner says.
