124.7 mln printers, copiers and multifunction devices will ship in 2005

Worldwide shipments and sales of printers, copiers and multifunction products are projected to surpass 124.7 mln units in 2005, a 7.8% increase from 2004, according to Gartner. Worldwide revenues for these products is forecast to top $59.7 bln, up 4.5% from 2004. By 2009, worldwide sales are expected to exceed $60.7 bln, and shipments are forecast to surpass 148.9 mln units.
