Teenagers and children account for 18.8% of all Internet users in the US, up from 18.3% in 2004, according to eMarketer. That number is expected to increase to 20.1% by 2008. Teens 12-17 represent 10.8% of US Internet users while children aged 3 to 11 years accounted for 8% of users.
