JupiterResearch says the online travel market in the United States will hit $54 bln by year-end 2004 for 23% of the travel market. The figure will swell to $91 bln in 2009 for 33% of all travel purchased. The purchase of airline tickets represents $23.3 bln in revenue in 2004, while consumers booked $11.6 bln in hotel revenue in 2004.
