Online travel agents will grow 19% to $27.7 bln in the US in 2005, according to Merrill Lynch. Revenues at direct suppliers online will grow by 27% in 2005, to $32.5 bln. Overall, online travel sales will account for an estimated 30% of the total travel market in 2005, up from 25% in 2004, and 21% in 2003,. By 2007 39% of all travel will be booked online.
