31% of Americans will change mobile providers

31% of mobile users surveyed by InsightExpress say they will change operators when their contracts expire. When choosing a new plan, 25% of cellphone users say they consider monthly fees, 24% consider carrier brand names and 16% consider the coverage they will get.

When choosing a new plan, 25% of cellphone users say they consider monthly fees, 24% consider carrier brand names and 16% consider the coverage they will get. Respondents told InsightExpress their preferred service providers include AT&T (35%), Nextel (21%) and T-Mobile (13%). eMarketer
