44% of IT decision makers name consumer data theft their top priority

A survey by Adobe Software and RSA Security found that 44% of IT decision makers view the issue of consumer data theft as a top priority, while 34% believe that creating more secure forms of data is a top-tier issue. 86% of the respondents believe that technology can have a strong impact on protecting consumer data from being stolen, 75% believe consumer action can have a strong impact and corporate action 72%.
