44% of online banking users with multiple accounts choose the same password for all of their banking services, 37% share their passwords with online merchants and subscriptions, and 11% of online bankers save their passwords on their computers. Of course, this makes people susceptible to multiple attacks if a password is compromised.

44% of online banking users with multiple accounts choose the same password for all of their banking services, 37% share their passwords with online merchants and subscriptions, and 11% of online bankers save their passwords on their computers. Of course, this makes people susceptible to multiple attacks if a password is compromised. Over 80% of those surveyed by Gartner said they would spend more with vendors whose site security went beyond a user name and password.
