5.9 mln Ukrainians online

In December 2004 5.9 mln Ukrainians were online, according to SputnikMedia research. 55.44% of Ukrainian Internet users live in Kiev. Yandex and Google were the top search engines used by Ukrainians to find sites in Ukrainian segment of the Web. CIA Factbook estimates Ukrainian population at 47.7 mln, which results in 12.37% Internet penetration in this country.
