$50 for news and entertainment: Ze Frank or NPR?

ZD Net has some nifty new polling features, so I am trying them out with a question I have been pondering. Ze Frank or NPR?If you had $50 for news and entertainment this month, would you send it to Ze Frank of the show with zefrank or to National Public Radio.

Ze Frank came up with a great promotion to raise funds from listeners. He sells duckies that display a message on the page where the show plays. Google Checkout initially shut him down, then turned it back on, though only one duckie was displayed on yesterday's show. We need to get him some more candy.

The choice, though, is between supporting something new and relatively expensive compared to an established organization with thousands of people producing lots of different programs. It's like buying a concert ticket to Ze's head or access to all the recordings of thousands of people's work. You probably do both, especially if you want to make Ze Frank a regular part of your day while still getting the news he riffs on. Still, if you had only that $50 and you were going to lose Ze Frank or all the NPR shows, what would you do?

There's a follow-up question for tomorrow, too....
