627 exabytes of flash memory to ship in 2006

Demand for data flash memory will soar to 235 bln megabytes 2005 and 627 bln in 2006, when Samsung will supply almost half the market. Multilevel cell technology will become the leading memory type by Q2 2006, according to Gartner.
