7.33 mln homes sold in June 2005, median price at $219K

Sales of previously owned homes surged to 7.33 million unit annual rate in June 2005, up from May 2005 7.14 million, the National Association of Realtors said. That figure includes both single-family homes and condominiums. The national median home price rose to $219,000, also a record.
