70% of Fortune 100 companies authenticate outbound e-mails

70% of Fortune 100 companies use one of the available e-mail authentication protocols on outbound marketing e-mail to help protect their brand and customers against phishing scams, according to Email Service Provider Coalition. Fortune 100 companies had a 57% increase in the authentication of corporate e-mail domains, and a 27% increase in the number of .com and .net domains supporting Sender ID since July 2005.
