Florida State University found that 98.9% of libraries offer free public Internet access, up from 21% in 1994 and 95% in 2002. 18% of libraries have wireless Internet access and 21% plan to get it within 2006. The number of annual library visits has increased from 500 mln in the early 1990's to 1.2 bln today, according to American Library Association.
