Extensive Testing of Interoperability with the Entrust/PKI Software

Access360, a provider of resource provisioning management (RPM) solutions, announced its enRole software solution earned Entrust-Ready status from Entrust Technologies Inc., involved in solutions that bring trust to e-business. The enRole solution, which manages user access rights to disparate systems within an enterprise, is now fully interoperable with the Entrust/PKI 5.0 software.

The Entrust-Ready designation indicates that enRole has been tested for interoperability with the Entrust/PKI 5.0 public-key infrastructure (PKI) software. To receive its Entrust-Ready designation, Access360's enRole went through interoperability, scalability, and feature design testing by Entrust Technologies' engineers.

Access360's enRole software helps large enterprise companies manage user access rights to a wide array of business resources from a centralized point of control. The Entrust/PKI 5.0 software provides a PKI architecture that enables more secure e-business transactions through user authentication, digital signatures and encryption of confidential information. With its Entrust-Ready designation, enRole is positioned to provide user access rights to EntrustPKI solution customers.

"We are pleased to see this commitment from Access360. The Entrust-Ready designation means that this product is fully interoperable with the Entrust/PKI software, giving our joint customers the confidence that these two applications can be used as one combined security solution," said Paul Doscher, executive vice president, marketing and business development, Entrust Technologies.

According to their local Singapore spokes-representative, an initial pilot project would involve about 1000 users, 3 agents on one system, and take about a month to complete. This would cost about 150K USD but it would vary according to the complexity of the user environment.
