This Core i7-720QM-powered machine is primarily a multimedia notebook, sporting an 18.4-inch CineCrystal edge-to-edge glass LED back-lit HD display (1080p resolution, 16:9 aspect ratio) while sound is booming from Acer's signature CineSurround sound system of five built-in speakers and subwoofer using Dolby Home Theater technology. Not to mention the Aspire 8943G hosts a Blu-ray drive and HDMI support.

For the gamers, there's also DirectX 11 support and 1GB ATI Mobility Radeon HD5850 graphics.

Designed with both glossy and matte finishes, the Acer Aspire 8943G also includes 4GB of RAM (optional upgrade to 8GB), a 500GB SATA hard drive, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, a 1.3-megapixel HD webcam, Gigabit Ethernet, and Bluetooth.

Pricing starts at $1,549.99, and goes up from there depending how you customize the laptop.
