Scott Hicks, the long-time managing director and son of Adam Internet founder Greg Hicks, has announced that he will leave the company after more than 17 years of service.

Hicks' father announced late yesterday that Hicks would leave the Adelaide-based ISP, which sports 200 staff and tens of thousands of customers.

Greg Hicks said he will stay on as the executive chairman as the company heads towards its 25th anniversary, and announced that former Telstra SaaS sales manager Sonya Moray will be Adam Internet's new cloud business manager, and former Westpac project director Colin St. Clair will join the company as a program manager.

"We are currently celebrating our 25th Anniversary, and I am very excited about the next 25 years. Adam Internet is well positioned to grow and continue to service South Australia with its ISP, datacentre and business cloud divisions," Greg Hicks said in a statement. "Adam Internet proudly runs its business and call centre operations in Adelaide for South Australians, and I look forward to continued growth".
