One of the things that that I miss about Android when I switch to my iPhone is the lack of a "back" button. A Kickstarter-funded project aims to rectify that on the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus.

So, how do you add a "back" button to the iPhone? By adding a "smart" screen protector, that's how. Called the Halo Back, it works by redirecting presses you perform on the bottom-left of the screen protector to the top-left of the screen, allowing you to easily use your iPhone 6 one-handed (something which I find impossible with the iPhone 6 Plus).

On top of the smart back button feature, the Halo Back also offers everything you'd expect from a good screen protector, including:

  • Extreme clarity
  • Feels like touching the actual display
  • Easy application
  • Protection from scratch and high impact drop

An early-bird Kickstarter discount on the Halo Back allows you to pick one up for only $17 for either the iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 Plus. If you're not into funding Kickstarter projects, then wait for the product to ship and pick one up for $49.

The Halo Back is expected to ship in August.
