Chip maker AMD has started shipping its Mobile Duron 600MHz and 700MHz processors, designed for the notebook market.
Chip maker AMD has started shipping its Mobile Duron 600MHz and 700MHz processors, designed for the notebook market.
The mobile Duron uses less power than the desktop version, and is the first in a line of AMD processors due for release this year. AMD also announced on Monday that it has won a contract to supply processors to NEC for use in the company's LaVie U notebooks.
