AMD shows off 1.1GHz Athlon

Advanced Micro Devices Inc. (NYSE: AMD), at an industry conference Wednesday, demonstrated a 1.1GHz Athlon processor produced at its Dresden, Germany, Fab 30 manufacturing plant.
