Android developers can qualify for a free BlackBerry PlayBook in February

The 2.0 update for the BlackBerry PlayBook will provide Android support and to promote this functionality RIM is holding a developer promotion.

Alec Saunders, VP of Developer Relations at RIM, posted a Tweet yesterday about an upcoming developer promotion for Android devs. As you can see on this RIM developer's blog page you will be able to qualify for a free 16GB BlackBerry PlayBook.

There are some obvious requirements, including that you be a registered BlackBerry App World developer and convert your Android app with a submittal to the BB App World between 2 February and 13 February. Visit the Runtime for Android apps page to see how you can repackage your Android app for the BlackBerry PlayBook.
