AOL starts 4.0 beta testing
America Online Inc. has kicked off widespread beta testing of the next generation of its online service software, version 4.0, with distribution to 50,000 US subscribers since last week, AOL officials said.
The "Casablanca" beta test is expected to be done in shifts to prevent system overload, officials said.
