If you're one of the poor souls who paid for an iPhone 4 Bumper prior to last week's preference, start being on the lookout for that refund from Apple.
Following a number of complaints regarding the placement of the antenna and problem with reception on the latest iPhone, CEO Steve Jobs announced that the company would start handing out free cases to anyone who purchases an iPhone 4 before September 30. Customers who already purchased the Bumper for $29 wouldn't be left in the dark as Apple promised refunds for this.
It wasn't quite clear when the refunds would start, but Apple has gotten on top of this relatively quickly as a number of consumers have already starting receiving e-mails from Apple saying the refund has been processed. Not everyone thinks that this will solve the reception problem, but at least it's something.
Have any of you who purchased iPhone 4 Bumpers received this e-mail yet?
