iPhone 4 owners aren't the only ones suffering from faulty Apple products. This one appears to have been in the making for awhile, and Apple is now offering free repairs or replacements for Time Capsules bought between February and June 2008.

Time Capsules are devices for backing up large amounts of data, so it can't be fun when the back-up plan goes awry. According to the Unofficial Apple Weblog, most complaints revolve around power issues and random shut downs.

This might not have affected everyone who bought a Time Capsule during that five-month time frame, but if you have a copy with a serial number in the range "XX807XXXXXX – XX814XXXXXX," you might want to schedule yourself an appointment at the Genius Bar.
