Are you a VoIP security consultant? Want a job?

But you gotta live in Australia first. Not a bad thing, mind you.

But you gotta live in Australia first. Not a bad thing, mind you.

As ZDNet Australia reports today, seems like the Australian government's Department of Communications, Information Technology and the Arts (DCITA) wants to hire a consultant to advise them on potential threats to VoIP security.

(Quick tangent: an agency that involves info tech and the arts sounds like a body with a wide-ranging mission).

The initiative is under the aegis of the Australian government's Trusted Information Sharing Network's IT Security Group.

The closing date for applications is April 21. I wish I knew where to send you, but honest-to-goodness, I cannot find the requisite info on the DCITA site.

Let's broaden the issue here. Have you ever applied to any government agency - anywhere, fo an IP consultancy contract? What were your experiences? Post a TalkBack.
