The Linux-based server market in the Asia-Pacific region (excluding Japan) is expected to grow to US$733.7 million by 2008; a 7.1% CAGR from 2003 to 2008, according to IDC. The software market (currently at $2.29 mln) will grow to $67.1 mln in 2008, at 96.6% CAGR.
