Asian-Pacific PC market to grow 12.8% in 2005

PC growth in the Asia-Pacific region is set for 12.8% growth in 2005, with China leading the way in both desktop and notebook PC sales, according to Gartner. Gartner estimated that 37.3 mln PCs will be sold throughout the region this year, a 12.8% increase over 2004. That's slightly lower than the 13.8% growth from 2003 to 2004, when 33.1 mln units were sold.
