AT&T to use Netscape open directory

AT&T Corp. (NYSE: T) said today that it would license Netscape's Open Directory Project for its WorldNet search service. Yesterday, Netscape said that AltaVista had also licensed the project for its search service. Netscape Open Directory allows Web users to categorize and review sites. -- Margaret Kane, ZDNet News
