Australian monitor market grew 12.8% in Q2 2004

Figures show Samsung had a 17.5% overall market share compared with LG's 16%. Phillips (13.7%) came third and BenQ (11.5%) was fourth. Acer (11%) jumped from seventh place in Q1 2004 to fifth place in Q2 while Mitsubishi dropped out of the top five vendors to seventh. Overall monitor sales were also dynamic with Q2 2004 hitting a 12.8% growth rate - a figure almost double that of Q2 2003.
