News.com's Charlie Cooper chats with Autodesk CEO Carol Bartz about the status of women executives in corporate America. "It's a system of white male boards picking the people they are most comfortable with," Bartz said. As a result woman have had a harder time moving up the corporate ladder, she said. The CEO of Autodesk since 1992, Bartz is moving out of that job on May 1 to be chairman. Bartz also talks about the need for change in the education system; the need for a better broadband policy as well as for stem cells and nano technology; and doing business in countries that have differing views on freedom than the U.S.
