The number of calls made or received by customers has increased from 77 a month in 2004 to 84 in 2005. Verizon Wireless ranked highest or was tied for the top spot in five of six US regions in terms of connection quality. It shared that ranking with T-Mobile in the Northeast and Southeast regions. Nextel ranked highest in the Southwest region.
