BBC appoints new CIO in tech shake-up

The BBC has appointed Tiffany Hall as a new chief information officer in a shakeup of its broadcast and technology area within the Future Media and Technology division. Hall, who joined the BBC as an IT project manager in 1995, will be responsible for strategic planning of the BBC’s infrastructure and information security systems from 12 October.

She will continue to cover her current role as head of development and delivery until a replacement is found.
