Be releases $10 OS beta

Be Inc. said it was making available to the public what it calls a preview of its BeOS. For $10, users can purchase the BeOS Preview Release, which includes the BeOS and access to online documentation. A $49 package adds printed documentation and two free upgrades to BeOS. Be said the updated BeOS includes a new file system and expanded hardware support.
