Best Buy Cyber Monday 2012 deals on tablets, laptops, desktop computers

Didn't buy a new PC on Black Friday? You can get sales on a 10-inch Lenovo Android tablet for $229.99 or an HP Envy Ultrabook for $549.99 at the retailer's website today.

If you weren't ready to brave the insanity that is Black Friday shopping, then Cyber Monday might be the sales day for you. While big box retailers won't pull out all the same stops as they did a few days ago, they are listing some discounts on new tablets, laptops, and desktops.

Right now, Best Buy has the most to offer, with PCs of all price ranges on sale through Monday. While it is continuing the Samsung price drop on its various tablets that everyone has been offering since Black Friday, the store also has a pair of 10-inch Android slates that are under the $300 price point. The Asus TF300T with 16GB of storage is now $100 cheaper at $279.99, while the 16GB Acer Iconia A200 is just $229.99, or $120 off.

If you're looking for a notebook for under $300, Best Buy has two Cyber Monday deals to choose from: the $249.99 Dell Inspiron with Intel Celeron B820 processor, 2GB of RAM, 320GB hard drive, DVD burner, and 15.6-inch screen, and the $269.99 Lenovo IdeaPad with similar specs save for an AMD E1-1200 processor. There are three other laptops under $400, including a 15.6-inch Dell Inspiron with an Intel Core i5-3210M Ivy Bridge processor, 4GB of RAM, and 500GB hard drive for $399.99.

Other laptop deals include one Ultrabook, the 14-inch HP Envy Touch-Screen model with Core i3-3217U CPU, 4GB of RAM, and 500GB hard drive for $250 off at $549.99. If you're looking for a more powerful portable, there's an Asus G55VW-DH71 with Core i7-3630QM processor, 8GB of RAM, 500GB hard drive, Nvidia GeForce GTX 660M graphics, and 1080p 15.6-inch screen for $1,149.99 ($150 off) or a gamer-friendly Asus G75VW-DH72 (Core i7-3630QM, 16GB of RAM, 750GB hard drive, 250GB solid state drive, GeForce GTX 670M graphics, 17.3-inch display) for a hefty $1,774.99, though still $225 off the regular price.

Best Buy also has a few gaming desktops on sale for Cyber Monday, like the CyberPowerPC Gamer Ultra GUA380 with AMD FX-4100 processor, 8GB of RAM, terabyte hard drive, and GeForce GT 610 graphics for just $449.99. More powerful systems include the iBuyPower Gamer Extreme 784i (Core i7-3770K, 8GB of RAM, 500GB hard drive, AMD Radeon HD 7770 graphics) for $140 off at $959.99 and even the super-slim Alienware X51 with Core i5-3450 Ivy Bridge chip, 6GB of RAM, 1TB hard drive, and GeForce GTX 660 graphics for $879.99 ($120 off; the Alienware site sells a similarly configured system for $999, though it adds another 2GB of RAM and has a Core i5-3330 processor instead).

Something much more budget friendly is the HP p2-1374, which is on sale for $269.99 for an AMD E1-1200 processor, 2GB of RAM, 500GB hard drive, and DVD burner. There are also a trio of all-in-one PCs to select from: the Gateway ZX4970 (Celeron G530, 4GB of RAM, 500GB hard drive, DVD burner, 21.5-inch 1,920x1,080 display) for $459.99 ($140 off), the Lenovo IdeaCentre B540 (Pentium G645, 4GB of RAM, 500GB hard drive, DVD burner, 23-inch touchscreen) for $589.99 ($210 off), and the HP Envy TouchSmart (Pentium G640, 4GB of RAM, 500GB hard drive, DVD burner, 20-inch touchscreen) for $599.99 ($100 off). Spec-wise, the Lenovo is clearly the better deal compared to the HP, as you get three extra inches of screen real estate for $10 less.
