BlackBerry grows its patch

Wireless services provider Motient said Monday that its network now can provide remote access to Lotus Notes e-mail accounts using Research In Motion's BlackBerry devices. Motient's network has been supporting Microsoft Exchange accounts, while Cingular Wireless, which operates RIM's other key network, has already added Notes support.

Separately, RIM said Monday that it has reached a deal to allow workers to remotely access corporate data analysis done using Informatica's software.
