Borders slashes prices on e-book readers for Cyber Monday

Cyber Monday is under way at Borders.com with special low prices on e-book readers and free shipping promotions.

Here's a look at the reduced prices on e-readers and tablets valid now through tomorrow:

• Sony Pocket Edition - $149.99
• Sony Touch Edition - $199.99
• Velocity Micro Cruz Reader - $149.99
• Velocity Micro Cruz Tablet - $249.99

Some of the other Cyber Monday promotions that Borders is running includes free shipping on all orders over $20 and 25% off all e-book reader accessories. Act fast if you want to take advantage of any of these deals.

However, one promo that consumers will have a little more time to take advantage of is with gift cards. If you buy $50 in gift cards at Borders.com (only) before December 11, you'll get a free $10 bonus card.
