Boxee Box gifted with Netflix for Valentine's Day

D-Link previously promised Netflix access on the Boxee Box, and today it is being served up as a Valentine's Day gift.

Only for Boxee Box set-top systems in the U.S. and Canada, Netflix access will show up in software version 1.0.4.17443, which will automatically update in the next 24 hours. If you just can't wait, you can get the update manually in the Settings menu.

The Boxee Box itself still retails for $199, and Netflix plans start at $7.99 per month for Watch Instantly streaming only.

The list of devices supporting Netflix (i.e. Sony PS3, Xbox 360, the iPhone and Internet-connected TVs, just to name a few) is growing so fast, the online rental company has become virtually inescapable.
