British Telecom to buy out partner

British Telecommunications Plc is poised to buy out its partners for complete ownershipof German phone and internet joint venture Viag Interkom AG, the Independent newspaper said on Sunday. The paper said BT, which owns 45 percent of the jointventure, is poised to pay $5 billion for the 55 percent stakeit does not already own.
