in brief UK-based telco BT is set to create an additional 50 jobs in Australia as the result of opening a new customer service facility in Sydney.
The facility, dubbed the "Customer Innovation Showcase Facility", will deliver support services to BT customers across the Asia-Pacific region as well as in the UK.
BT plans to recruit more than 300 staff across the Asia-Pacific by the end of the year.
The centre was opened in Sydney today by Richard Morris, British consul general and director-general of UK Trade and Investment in Australia and New Zealand.
