Ideal for anything from boardrooms to theme parks to hospitals, the REALiS WUX4000 projector runs on a AISYS-enhanced LCOS optical engine for crisper and more accurate projected images. Canon is pushing the boundaries of HD with a resolution of 1,920 x 1,200, a 16:10 aspect ratio and 4,000 lumens brightness level for widescreen images.
The REALiS WUX4000 also sports a trio of high-res interchangeable, Canon-made projection lenses: a 1.5x Zoom, 0.8x Ultra Wide Angle single focal length, and 1.7x Long Focus Zoom. Apparently they were made for the EOS digital SLR system, but it would certainly be nice to see Canon finally jump on board with interchangeable lens system for its cameras too.
Set to launch in March 2011, the REALiS WUX4000 Installation LCOS Projector will run for $8,999. That does include a 3-year limited warranty.
